3 Ways to Get Star Tokens in Brawl Stars
There are three ways to get Star Tokens in Brawl Stars:
Win a 3v3 event Place in the top 4 in a Solo Showdown event Place in the top 2 in a Duo Showdown event
You’ll be able to tell that an event will give you a Star Token for succeeding because you’ll see the icon in the top left-hand corner of the event icon. If you win and receive a Star Token for your efforts, then you’ll have to wait until that event refreshes until you can get another Star Token for completing it.
Different events have different timer countdowns, for example, some events refresh in 24 hours. That means you’ll have to wait up to an entire day until you can get a Star Token again. If you fire up Supercell’s new game multiple times throughout the day and take on all of the events that have a Star Token up for grabs, then you should be able to collect quite a few of them every 24 hours.
What Do You Get from a Brawl Stars Big Box?
Brawl Stars will give you free loot boxes, called Brawl Boxes, every few hours or so. These can be unlocked with standard Tokens which you earn from playing the game normally. The loot contained in them is okay, but it’s not the best and that’s why players will want to focus on the Big Box. Opening up a Big Box will provide access to rarer characters who are, in theory, more powerful and effective.
Brawl Stars does allow players to spend money in order to get more Big Boxes, a controversial decision that effectively makes the game pay to win. But some will just be glad that the game provides a free, alternative way to open them and gain access to the goodies inside.
