The Braves placed the 27-year-old closer on the disabled list on Saturday after he told the team he could not pitch because he was sore, according to a report by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Vizcaino returned from the disabled list on July 3 after missing almost two weeks with inflammation in his right shoulder.
“It’s concerning, very much so, I think,” Snitker told the Journal-Constitution.
“Because he was feeling so good when he came back. Then last night I guess he didn’t feel real good when he was warming up to potentially come in the game.
“It’s just something … we’ve just got to get it right.”
Vizcaino has registered a 1.65 ERA and converted 15 of 17 save opportunities this season.
The Braves are second in the National League East with a 51-42 record.
