According to a police report, Barnes allegedly used his hands to “grab, pull and knock down” a woman at his home on August 11. It is unclear what his relationship is to the victim, who required treatment at a local medical center after injuring her right elbow during the incident.

Barnes, who is free on bond, has a court appearance scheduled for Sept. 24. If convicted on the misdemeanor charge, he could face up to one year in jail.

Bradley head coach declined to offer comment.

The Braves’ lone returning senior was the team’s top rebounder last season, pulling down 5.6 boards per game.
